1963 White Ford Falcon Futura Convertible

I have a nice Ford Falcon for sale with only 32,000 miles on it, although i am unsure of the accuracy. It has a 170 straight 6 (V6 engine) with newer carb and tune up. Newer gas tank and sending unit, newer Sony under dash stereo and speakers, newer stainless steel rims with 4 newer tires and a spare in the trunk. By newer i mean, a year ago or so. The car starts right up, even in the 20's the other day. We have driven it on street and highway. The car has been well cared for and always garage kept.

INTERIOR
The interior is black, in great shape, and original. 1 small tear on drivers seat can be easily fixed. Seatbelts. Original in dash radio. Glove box with original vintage 1963 road map. Car manual included too! Trunk interior is clean and free of holes or damage. Spare tire in trunk.

EXTERIOR
A few small nicks and dings here and there, nothing major or startling, especially for its age. Small amount of pitting on a few parts of the chrome, but again nothing that is shocking. No rust holes or rusted through. The car is solid in and out. Not a rust bucket, clunker, or beater. The original automatic soft top convertible works well, the front buckles are intact and working. I have the snap top for the soft top. Car in photo has newer stainless rims on but i put the original hub caps that it came with. Car has original undamaged hood ornaments. All glass is in tact and all windows roll down.

Ford S-Max Concept previews new look, technology for Euro seven-seater

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

Ford unveiled today the S-Max Concept, which comes with a new, sleek look and loaded with innovative technology, such as a heart-rate monitoring seat. But if you're heart is set on a minivan sports activity vehicle (SAV) and you live in the States, don't wait for this one - it's a Europe-only product, and we don't expect that to change when the next-gen S-Max is released.
The styling follows Ford's global design language, looking a bit like an overgrown Focus hatchback with the company's signature grille, wraparound headlamps, steeply raked windshield and curved roof line. Ford also implemented details to make the S-Max look longer and faster, such as a feature line on each side of the vehicle and muscular-looking fenders. The engine isn't Ford's most powerful, but the new 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine should be potent enough with turbocharging and other efficiency related technologies.
Ford says the new interior, which seats up to seven people, features high-quality materials and fine detailing, such as an "ultra-soft" leather wrap for the instrument panel and leather and carbon-fiber details on the seats. Ford's Sync connectivity system with MyFord Touch makes the car a wireless hotspot, and there's a tablet docking station for second-row occupants.

Watch this Ford F-150 SVT Raptor fly like an eagle [UPDATE]

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is a very capable truck right out of the box, but "capable" has never translated into "invincible." Just ask the owner of the machine in this video. In it, the driver gets frisky with an aggressive jump with plenty of speed on his hands. The result is enough air to make Vaughn Gittin Jr. blush. As always, it's not the launch that's painful, but the re-entry. Gravity eventually asserts its dominance over the $43,630 pickup in a big way, and when it comes crashing down, it does so with a vengeance.
The impact was hard enough to set off both the alarm and multiple airbags inside the cabin. It's unclear if anyone was injured in the stunt, but we certainly wouldn't be surprised to hear that was the case. You can check out the stunt in the video below, and remember, when in doubt, back out of the throttle. Be warned, there may be some explicit/NSFW language in the clip.
UPDATE: Second video added with an even better look at the jump added below.

Solid axle? What solid axle?
I was fully prepared to embark on a seven-day journey down a rabbit hole of broken bolts, internet hearsay and consternation.
This should not have gone this easily. Having a long and checkered history of simple projects punctuated by much wailing and gnashing of knuckles, I was fully prepared to embark on a seven-day journey down a rabbit hole of broken bolts, internet hearsay and consternation when I finally decided to lay hands on the '89 Mustang with the goal of relieving the car of its stock rear axle. Instead, it took less than a full morning's worth of work to carve the old 7.5-inch solid axle from its moorings and mock up something, well, different.
