This is an outstanding numbers matching original condition '64 Galaxie convertible. Brand new (white top) and rear window, new 4bb Holley carb with electronic choke. New interior. Everything works except for the original am radio. I will replace with a working am/fm stereo if you do not want the original radio. Power steering and recently redone drum brakes. Perfect original glass. Engine runs perfectly, compression tested in all cylinders per specs and vacumn stays steady. This is a 352 that has been well maintained and clearly babied. Pulls like a new engine on highways and cruises with no effort. Transmission shifts smoothly. No leaks. No rust anywhere including undercarriage and frame. Frame rails are solid and straight. I have an electronic ignition I will give you (or install) if you do not want the points. Paint is a few years old and does have a few dings from road use. Nothing that could not be inexpensively covered if you wanted to put the finish in No 1 show condition. All rubber is in very good shape. Chrome bumpers are perfect and aluminum is all original and in very good condition. With proper polishing could easily be put in show status. If you are looking for an authentic full size Ford experience from the 60's a '64 Galaxie convertible would be hard to beat. Especially a convertible in as nice original shape as this one. Tires are nearing the end of their life and will need to be replaced. Other than that this car is waiting for you to take it to local shows or drive it about town.

2015 Ford Mustang spied on video for the first time
Thu, 20 Jun 2013Not many cars will continue to hold our rapt attention quite like the upcoming redesigned 2015 Ford Mustang, codenamed S550 internally. Earlier this month, we brought you the first spy photos of a next-gen Mustang prototype out testing, and even though expertly placed cladding concealed the pony car's new shape, we could tell that underneath was hiding an altogether new form inspired by the Evos Concept from 2011.
Today we give you some video of what looks to be the same Mustang prototype, which you can watch below, and while the budding director behind the camera wasn't able to capture much in the way of the engine's audio signature, we can see the car in motion for the first time and compare its relative size and shape to the S197 Mustang GT that's on its tail.
Leno chooses his top 10 Mustangs
Sat, 14 Jun 2014He may be a few months late to the party, but in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang, Jay Leno has delivered a short video in which he runs down which of the Blue Oval's pony cars from the past 50 years are his favorites.
The list is pretty darn similar to our own, with some of the big names from the Mustang's half century making an appearance, while there are three or four cars here that we think you'll be pretty surprised by.
Take a look below for this short video from Jay Leno's Garage.
Ford settles class action suit over defective Navistar diesel engines
Fri, 25 Oct 2013The 2003 Ford F-Series Super Duty (shown above) introduced the 6.0-liter Power Stroke diesel supplied by Navistar, and while that is an engine Ford would love to forget, it's now one step closer to putting that particular problem behind it. Automotive News is reporting that Ford has settled a class-action lawsuit brought on by problems with this engine that started right out of the gate and ultimately broke up the 30-year relationship between Ford and Navistar.
Owners and lessees of 2003-2007 Super Duty trucks and E-Series vans equipped with the 6.0-liter Power Stroke are eligible for deductible reimbursements of between $50 and $200 from the original five-year/100,000-mile engine warranty, while Ford is paying out as much as $825 for out-of-warranty engine repairs. These repairs may include the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler, EGR valve, oil cooler, fuel injectors and turbocharger, but are only covered if the components failed before six years or 135,000 miles.
In total, Ford has agreed to pay about 50 percent of the value of the repairs and deductibles paid by its customers who submit a claim before the end of this year, and $150,000 is going to the 16 named plaintiffs in the case; Navistar was not included in the lawsuit.
