1930 FORD MODEL A STANDARD COUPE in excellent condition. I purchased this car in 2007 and have put less than 1000 miles on it. It has been garaged since purchased. A new vinyl top and underlayment along with new wood rails were installed in 2008. No leaks.
This stunning example of a vintage Model A coupe underwent a complete restoration in 2007. It was stripped to bare metal, primed, and painted down to the frame. It was completely rebuilt. The exterior shows no sign of body filler nor rust from body to undercarriage. It is a very straight body all around.
The interior was redone using LeBaron Bonney in dark tan color and has no blemishes. Seat, door panels, and headliner are all in like new condition. Even the rumble seat was reupholstered. The dash was repainted and pinstriped as original. Chrome is in great shape and gauges and lights work. Has Motometer Wings radiator cap that still works.
Odometer currently shows 0250 but was at 901 when purchased. I cannot verify the actual mileage.
In 2011, the car was updated with a new radiator rock guard, six blade fan, 6 volt alternator, disconnect breaker, and new Altima battery. Brakes were redone as needed at the time and a complete safety inspection was done to insure its drivability. Runs smoothly and dependably. No leaks. Has hood props installed for added convenience. Has original style tube type white wall tires and spoke wheels.
Must see this car to really appreciate its condition Selling to make more room in my warehouse for business needs.

NHTSA closes investigations into Ford Taurus, Hyundai Santa Fe
Wed, 03 Jul 2013Ford and Hyundai are out from under the scrutinizing eyes of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration after the government agency said it was closing investigations against both automakers over vehicle safety concerns.
Ford was being investigated for reported damaged speed control cables on Ford Taurus (shown above) and Mercury Sable models, both built between 2000 and 2003. Vehicles with the company's Duratec engines allegedly failed to allow owners to brake as expected. Owners lodged 100 complaints and were involved in five accidents, according to NHTSA records. The American automaker responded to the reports, and on June 21 of this year, said that it would inspect and repair all affected vehicles, regardless of the mileage.
Hyundai was under investigation for a reported loose fastener on the steering shaft of its 2011 Santa Fe (shown in the gallery below). After NHTSA launched its inquiry, the Korean automaker responded with its own investigation that yielded four affected vehicles. Following the inspection of 680 vehicles at its assembly plant, Hyundai said the issue was due to employee error and that no further defects have been found.
2015 Ford Mustang Convertible makes inappropriate appearance in Detroit [w/video]
Tue, 14 Jan 2014With the polar vortex fresh in the minds of Autoblog's Detroit-based staff, we're finding it funny that any manufacturer would choose January in the Motor City to show off a new and highly anticipated convertible to the general media and public for the first time. But Ford has done just that, giving us our first real peek at the new Mustang Convertible in the flesh.
The new Mustang Convertible is more or less unchanged from the standard coupe, with some subtle styling tweaks to accommodate the retractable soft top. Engine and transmission choices are identical to the hardtop, although we should expect slightly lower performance due to the hardware for the roof. Like the coupe, neither prices nor performance metrics have been published yet for the convertible.

Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."
