2005 - Ford Mustang on 2040-cars
Springfield, Missouri, United States
I am the second owner of this vehicle. First owner, purchased directly from a Ford dealer, he lowered it, added Pypes exhaust and tailpipes, vinyl stripe package, and the Boyd Coddington Signature series smoothies and high performance tires. I purchase this vehicle in 2009 with 2400 miles on it and currently it has 10,372, 1600 put on it in the last two months. This vehicle has the power package to include windows, drivers seat, locks, and an anti theft system. It has the Shaker 1000 stereo system, cruise control, disk brakes, black leather interior, no one has sat in the back seat. I had the vehicle inspected in December of 2013 for plate renewal, no issues. This vehicle has a clear title. This vehicle has always been in a garage to avoid any type of weather. There are two small door dings in the passenger rear quarter panel (because no matter how far out in a parking lot you park, someone has to get to close), and a couple of blemishes on the front vinyl stripe. The buyer is responsible for shipping or picking up the vehicle if purchased.

George W. Bush's 2009 Ford F-150 fizzles with $300,000 bid at Barrett-Jackson [UPDATE: w/video]
Sun, 20 Jan 2013Despite some truly impassioned pleading from Jay Leno himself - including calling on Arizona's notoriously Republican-rich voters to beat the $600,000 level set the last time Leno sold a vehicle for this particular charity... in California - bidding for George Bush's 2009 Ford F-150 pickup truck stalled at $300,000.
All proceeds will be sent to the Fisher House Foundation, so at least it's $300K going to a good cause. Feel free to check out the live image gallery above, which includes shots showing Leno's skills helming the auction, and read through the official auction description below.
*UPDATE: Video of the auction and Leno's prods to the crowd for more money can now be seen below.
Ford recalling nearly 5,700 2014 F-150s for power steering issue
Wed, 25 Jun 2014Ford is recalling 5,675 of its 2014 F-150 pickups over an issue with the electric power steering system. There haven't been any injuries or accidents due to the issue.
Ford spokesman Mike Levine told Autoblog that the "electric power-assisted steering and motor position sensor gear were incorrectly installed by a supplier," leading to the recall.
While the recall is larger on the surface, it's important to note that only 260 trucks have been delivered to customers. The remaining pickups are currently en route to dealers. The affected vehicles were manufactured between May 26 and June 19.
NHTSA investigating Ford Fiesta for faulty door latches
Mon, 15 Sep 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened a preliminary investigation on the 2011-2013 Ford Fiesta because the regulator has received 61 complaints from drivers, including one claim of an injury, about the doors on the subcompacts failing to latch and sometimes even flying open while driving. NHTSA has estimated that the problem could affect as many as 205,000 vehicles.
NHTSA is still gathering further data about the problem, but looking at the complaints so far, both front and rear doors appear to be potentially involved with the alleged failures. Among the reports, there are 12 claiming that the door opened while driving. Several also indicate the "Door Ajar" warning illuminating during this problem. The one purported injury happened when someone attempted to shut the door, and it bounced back.
Ford spokesperson Kelli Felker told Autoblog via email, "We are cooperating with NHTSA on this investigation, as we always do." Scroll down to read the report from NHTSA.
