You are bidding on a one-of-a-kind vehicle. While most heads turn when a Jeep GRAND Wagoneer in pristine condition drives by, the sibling Jeep Wagoneer Limited (downsized XJ platform) garners less attention. Partly, this is due to the low production numbers. For the final year of production (1990), only 6,810 vehicles were produced. Of those 6,810, the Wagoneer I am selling is very likely the LAST of this year that has low mileage and is in pristine condition. The original MSRP was $24,795 (a hefty sum back in 1990). Currently, the NADA Classic Cars valuation is as follows: LOW Retail: $5,925 / AVERAGE Retail: $10,650 / HIGH Retail: $17,200. For those wondering about the reserve price, be assured it is under the HIGH retail pricing. Serious bidders for a collector's item are welcomed. This is NOT a vehicle suitable for daily driving or winter usage, as it will cause deterioration. This vehicle is destined for antique status in 2 yrs (2015) and should be treated as such. New battery, new tires, freshly refinished alloy wheels (to original factory finishing specs). One of the most STUNNING aspects of this 23 year-old vehicle is that it is still partially covered by a lifetime warranty -- 1990 was the 1st year that any manufacturer of a 4wd vehicle attempted anti-lock brakes. Jeep was the first! However, there were a number of bugs in Jeep's anti-lock brake system that were ironed out in a year or so of recalls. But, as a good-will gesture, Jeep provided all 1990 Jeeps a free lifetime warranty on the entire anti-lock braking system. During the 12 years I have owned the Jeep, I had only one issue w/ the ABS - in August 2004, the ABS Actuator assembly and motor was replaced free of charge under the lifetime warranty (what would have been a $1,000+ repair). The rear main seal has been replaced and is not leaking (a common malady on the XJ platform). Cosmetically, the vehicle is in pristine condition inside and out, with only some minor surface rust on the undercarriage. The headliner is in perfect condition. It has always been garaged. It is currently registered and insured as a classic vehicle with an insurance appraisal of $17,000. The vehicle comes with a 4" thick 3-ring binder that includes ALL mechanical history/records. Review my 100% feedback rating and bid with confidence!

Refreshed Chrysler 300 SRT won't be sold in NA
Mon, 20 Oct 2014It looks like it might be time to bid farewell to the V8 rumble from the Chrysler 300 SRT - at least if you live in North America. The reported change comes as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles reshuffles its ranks with the Dodge brand, re-absorbing SRT and building its muscular reputation with the Challenger and Charger Hellcat models. Meanwhile, Chrysler is taking a more mainstream approach, and that likely means the end of overt high-performance models from the division for now.
According to Automotive News, the 300 SRT will be discontinued in the US for 2015, but it won't be totally dead. Some right-hand drive markets will still get the brawny V8 sedan next year, a distinction that goes a long way toward explaining some spy shots we've seen recently.
The 300 SRT's North American demise probably shouldn't come as a total shock. In FCA's five-year plan, it says that the 300 is destined for a refresh to be unveiled later this year, presumably at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. There's no mention of the SRT model in the document, though, which seems to signal its end.
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT gets power increase, minor tweaks for 2015
Tue, 02 Sep 2014As a brand within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, SRT may have an uncertain future, but it's pumping out some seriously mean machines anyway. The supercharged Hellcat V8 may be gobbling up most of the headlines with its 707 horsepower, but even the Grand Cherokee SRT is getting some small updates for the 2015 model year.
Most importantly for many enthusiasts, the Grand Cherokee SRT is getting a slight power bump. Don't expect the 700+ hp from the Hellcat, but this SUV sees a modest 5-hp and 5-pound-feet of torque improvement to bring output to 475 hp and 470 lb-ft for its 6.4-liter V8 with an eight-speed automatic. The minor change doesn't change the sprint to 60 miles per hour, clocking in at the same 4.8 seconds, or the tow rating at 7,200 pounds. Still, more grunt is never a bad idea.
Another new addition is the Active Noise Canceling system as a standard feature for this powerful SUV. It adds four microphones around the vehicle and uses the stereo system to nullify extraneous sound. However, Jeep claims that the meaty exhaust note from the V8 still gets through into the cabin for driver enjoyment.
2014 Jeep Cherokee starting price set at $22,995*
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Love it or hate it, the 2014 Cherokee is on its way to a Jeep showroom near you this fall. Today, Chrysler announced the different trim levels, features and pricing for its new compact utility with a starting price of $22,995 (*not including $995 for destination), which is $400 less than the 2012 Liberty it ostensibly replaces.
Available in four trim levels - Sport, Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk - the new Cherokee will come standard with Chrysler's 2.4-liter Tigershark inline four-cylinder engine with the upper three levels offering the option of the company's 3.2-liter Pentastar V6. The base Sport is your typical entry-level model, featuring equipment including manual cloth seats and black exterior mirrors and door handles, but it also has a five-inch Uconnect media center, LED taillights and 10 standard airbags. Stepping up from the Sport model, Latitude and Limited trims bring increasing levels of luxury starting at $24,495 and $27,995, respectively. All three of these trims are front-wheel drive in standard configuration and offer varying versions of Jeep's Active Drive four-wheel-drive system.
The range-topping $29,495 Cherokee Trailhawk (shown above) comes standard with four-wheel drive and numerous upgrades to earn Jeep's Trail Rated fender badge. These changes include a unique design that adds an off-road suspension with taller ride height giving more aggressive approach and departure angles, underbody skid plates, distinguishing exterior design elements and a seven-inch, reconfigurable instrument gauge cluster similar to what it found in high-trim Dodge Dart models. Scroll down for a full breakdown of the 2014 Cherokee pricing and trim levels, and let us know what you think of the model's pricing and equipment in Comments.
