Up for sell is my long time owned Mazda RX-7. I have 6 going for my 7 year of owning this car. This is my first car and my dream car and i wished to kept it for as long a i could but the time has come in my life where more important things need to be done. Im selling this car to buy a house so i hope i can find a buyer who will understand this car and take care of it and love it as much as i have and hope this sacrifice is worth it and could help each other out, with that ill tell you everything about this car that i know and that it has. Im not going to mention prices of whats cost me of doing those things or how much ive invested in the car becuase i just know we all do it for the love of your car and never expect to get it back if you ever sold it. Remember this is a 20 year old car and it is strictly being sold AS IS but im hoping chances are that if your interested in this car you most likely know something about this car and how much it takes to own one so here goes...

Ive tried to keep the car as original as possible, it starts up everytime without problems. The motor is all stock, never went over 3000 miles changed the oil everytime, never has overheated or left me stranded. Ived kept this car mostly on my house with a car cover most of the time and riding it from time to time never not really a daily driver mostly for ocassions only. The body of the car is absolutely straight, no dents or dings or been in a accident. The interior of the car is complete! theres nothing missing or needs to be replaced. It comes with the Original bose system for the RX7 but it needs to be installed (never installed it) and you have to change the cargo lid if you do but its your choice.

Since i bought the car these are the things i have done to it and most recent  what the car has on it:

  • Lamborghini Red Paint ( About a year and a half old)
  • 99 Khouki spoiler
  • Side skirts (forgot brand)
  • Back skirts mud flaps
  • Yellow OEM RX7 Fog Lights
  • Original RX7 chrome rims
  • Door step skirts (Hard to find)
  • Suede Seats
  • Custom Cluster Gauge
  • 4 Inch HKS High Performance Exhaust (Beautiful Deep Noise)
  • Car Alarm

Ok so now its time for the bad things or stuff that needs to be fixed or just to know if you wish to fix or change it:

The car as of right now has NO BOOST. The wastegate of the car needs to be fixed. Its open and i believe is stuck open since you can hear it (my mechanic told me this) since the wastegate is open the air just keeps going out so no boost is builded.I been riding the car for 2 years like that with no problems, no joke, so i dont have any idea of the condition of the turbos but i dont think they shouldnt have anything wrong since they were working fine before that happened but i wish to mention that so in case that dosent fix the boost you might have to give it a diagnose check and see if the turbos are ok.

Theres oil on the bottom of the car thats dirty but the car DOES NOT drop or leek oil its been building up for years that the little bit of oil probably escapes from the seal from time to time. RX7's are known for their oil and how much it uses and burns it. I check it once a week and it hardly reduces oil when i use the car and never goes down when i just have it sitting but you do have to check it once a week becuase its random of how much oil it burns and you never know when you need to add a little bit. Honestly another thing im ganna mention is that i havent check the oil seals in a while so you should probably want to if you feel you need to.

The car runs rich on gas and maybe becuase of the problem with the wastegate perhaps, the car backfires, mostly when you just turn it on and its cold but sometimes from time to time when running.

The suspension is old! i got this car with the same suspensions it has on right now and havent been able to changed it (It hasnt been a problem for me but maybe i got used to it?) its really stiff and not much shock strenght left on it, the car is low (but not too low) so carefull with those bumps!

Ofcourse because of the HKS exhaust the car will NOT pass the smog check, so you know what that means. Please dont tell me i didnt mention this.

The drivers side miror wires needs to be connected again so you can move the miror with the control again.I had to change and buy a new one becuase the old one was broken from the base.

When you make a turn (mostly left turns) the cd players goes off then comes back on, i guess over time the wire or something got loose so needs to be checked. (been too lazy to do that)

Missing the spare tire.

Thats everything i can think of. Thats all the good and bad things it has but honestly it cost money, commitment and time to take care of this car and keep it looking and performing the way it should honestly. Once again this car is 20 years old.

I HOLD THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION IF I SELL THE CAR LOCALLY. CHANCES OF THAT IS LOW BUT I STILL WISH TO KEEP IT, MY APOLOGIES.

Wining buyer is fully responsible for pick up or shipping of this vehicle, i will help all i can from my part if you need something i can do but i will not be the one shipping the car to you or anything.

FOR PAYMENT I ONLY ACCEPT PAYPAL, BANK TRANSFER OR CASH ONLY!

thank you very much for your interest and for reading all this. I highly appreciate it. Well ill cross my fingers and good luck to everyone.

2014 Mazda3 officially rated at 30/41 mpg, priced from $16,945*

Wed, 24 Jul 2013

It's hard not to be smitten with the 2014 Mazda3; after all, just look at it. But beyond its slick lines, we found the new compact hatch to be a pretty remarkable steer, offering up good levels of comfort and refinement, not to mention functionality and engagement. Now, there's more reason to like the 2014 Mazda3, as we've just learned that the car will officially be rated at 30 miles per gallon city and 41 mpg highway.
That 30/41 rating is for the Mazda3 sedan fitted with the 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G inline four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. Opting for the manual transmission retains the 41-mpg highway number, but drops the city digits to 29. Hatchback models with the 2.0-liter engine achieve 29/40 mpg with the manual 'box and 30/40 with the automatic.
Mazda also offers a larger 2.5-liter inline-four in the 3, and while a six-speed automatic will be the only transmission available with this engine at launch, the automaker has confirmed that a manual is coming shortly. With the 6AT and 2.5, the Mazda3 sedan is rated at 28/39 mpg, or 29/40 with the company's i-Eloop regenerative braking system. Hatchback models shrink those numbers to 28/37 and 29/39 mpg, with and without i-Eloop, respectively.

Toyota, Honda, Nissan and more collaborating to increase fuel efficiency

Sun, 25 May 2014

Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Daihatsu have announced an alliance that will see a push to improve fuel economy from both gas-powered and diesel-powered engines by as much as 30 percent before the end of the decade.
The newly assembled Research Association of Automotive Internal Combustion Engines put the roughly $20-million project together, with the Japanese government committing to half the cost while the eight manufacturers will chip in the rest.
According to Automotive News, the automakers will team up and share basic research on internal-combustion engines in a bid to cut costs. Eventually, the results of the research will find its way into a production vehicle, although it's unclear just when we'll see the fruits of this partnership on the road.

Ever wonder how to really pronounce Japanese automaker names?

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

People tend to get very set in their ways when it comes to the pronunciation of words. Just look at the endless debates over whether or not to say the final 'e' in Porsche (which you should in terms of correct German enunciation). Or the argument about whether to follow the British convention and give the 'u' in Jaguar a special delivery or to say the 'ua' diphthong as more of a 'w' sound, as usually happens in the US.
This short video doesn't answer either of those automotive questions, but it does allow a native Japanese speaker to demonstrate the accepted pronunciations for several, major automakers from the country. One benefit is that it clears up the occasional debate over whether Nissan should be said with a long or short 'i' sound. Also, listen closely to how the female host says Mazda as Matsuda, the way it's actually said in the language. Even if this doesn't change the way you enunciate these brands, at least now you know the accurate way in Japanese.
