Florida car. Original paint in excellent condition. No noticable dings or scatches. Nice interior MBTex in like new condition. Still has the original First Aid Kit in the back window console. Back window defroster. No dogs, kids or smokers have been in the car. Very reliable Diesel engine only 187k miles. Very low miles for these engines which routinely top 300,000 miles. Garaged, NO CRACKS on dashboard. No leaks/drips. Doesnt even smoke at idle, nor full acceleration. Good tires with 75% of the tread left. Starts right up. Selling because we don't use it and it needs to go to someone who will drive and appreciate the solid quality. Outstanding fuel economy. While she wont be on the race track any time soon, her diesel has plenty of get up and go. Minor defects...There is a little chipping of the black paint around the top of the side view mirror. The antenna vacume line has a leak, have to pull up and push down manually. There is a small area in the under carriage where the factory rubber cowel was punctured causing a rusted out area size of the palm of a hand. An estimate for $200 was received to repair it. No car jack. The A/C is not blowing cold. All in all, this is a very clean vehicle. I get thumbs up often, and compliments on her condition and overall presence.

Mercedes mulling Renault-based entry-level X-Class?
Sun, 17 Mar 2013Somewhere in between the Smart brand and the all-new A-Class (pictured above), Daimler is said to be readying a smaller entry-level product for the Mercedes-Benz brand to compete with models like the Audi A1. According to AutoBild, Mercedes-Benz will get a new hatchback based on a platform from its recent partnership with Renault-Nissan, and it could be called the X-Class.
Expected to debut by 2018, the Mercedes-Benz X-Class could be offered in sedan, hatchback and crossover variants, and it would likely have a starting price below the $20,000-euro mark. Power would come from either a 1.0-liter inline three-cylinder engine or a 1.5-liter inline-four, and the car would likely be built in a low-cost nation in order to make the financials work. Wearing the Mercedes-Benz name, the X-Class would have to exhibit more distinguishable luxury and styling to set itself apart from the models that helped provide its underpinnings.
Mercedes to market Tesla-powered 2014 B-Class EV in U.S.
Thu, 05 Jul 2012Looks like another Tesla Motors investor will be looking to cash in on their connection. Autoweek reports Mercedes-Benz will offer their B-Class in the U.S. with Tesla propulsion.
The magazine says their source at the German automaker confirms plans for a B-Class electric-only vehicle. While Tesla already provides battery packs for the battery-powered Smart ForTwo, the B-Class EV will reportedly have Tesla batteries, motor and other components. U.S. residents should be able to procure one sometime in 2014.
The same Mercedes source says plans for a hybrid B-Class have been postponed for now. Adding a range-extending, gasoline-powered engine to an electric vehicle would put the car into a different class for which rebates and incentives aren't as favorable in the States.
2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG rumbles on stage 4Matic style
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Bruce Hornsby and his soothing piano skills helped introduce us to the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, but the monstrous E63 AMG sedan needed no entrance music as it rumbled on stage. The 550-horsepower (and up) sedan sat proudly alongside the rest of the redesigned E-Class on stage at the Detroit Auto Show, but stood miles apart in intention and execution.
In addition to a choice of sedan and wagon body styles, the E63 AMG will also offer buyers the choice of the standard 550 hp or an upgraded 577-hp S-Model; regardless of output, all 2014 E63 AMG models will come standard with the 4Matic all-wheel-drive system.
