For sale is a 1990 Nissan King Cab Pickup Truck that runs great!
It has 176,000 miles currently and is still being driven on a regular basis, so It might have close to 177,000 by the time it is purchased. Frame and bed are very rusted out but is still holding together, transmission shifts good, had to fix exhaust several times due to parts rusting. Exhaust is currently fixed, not leaking, and is fairly quiet - always a plus! Believe it or not this is a single owner truck, with a rebuilt/salvage title. It was hit in the rear right corner of the bed by the taillight about 8 years ago (see pictures) and it was issued the new title status because of it. The front control arm is also bent from the incident, and causes the front tires to wear out faster due to the slight misalignment. Power steering broke a long time ago and never fixed, it steers fine without it but will require a little bit of muscle.
Recently had several tires put on it.
OEM radio was replaced for an upgraded stereo a few years ago, CD player works great on it.

Nissan teases new pickup on Twitter [w/video]

Renault gives rhinoplastic upgrade to Versa for Indian market
Mon, 10 Sep 2012What do you call a Nissan Versa with a new nose and a home in the Indian car market? A Renault Scala. Given a chrome grille insert, the blacked-out crossbar common to Renaults and a few other "status-enhancing" tweaks, the Scala is Renault's fifth offering in India and rounds out its segment coverage.
The Scala is not only positioned as a sedan with value pricing and luxurious equipment, it is presented as a carriage for the chauffeured classes: best-in-class roominess, leather seating, rear vents for the climate control and two cupholders in the rear armrest attend to the boss in the back.

Ever wonder how to really pronounce Japanese automaker names?
Thu, 25 Sep 2014People tend to get very set in their ways when it comes to the pronunciation of words. Just look at the endless debates over whether or not to say the final 'e' in Porsche (which you should in terms of correct German enunciation). Or the argument about whether to follow the British convention and give the 'u' in Jaguar a special delivery or to say the 'ua' diphthong as more of a 'w' sound, as usually happens in the US.
This short video doesn't answer either of those automotive questions, but it does allow a native Japanese speaker to demonstrate the accepted pronunciations for several, major automakers from the country. One benefit is that it clears up the occasional debate over whether Nissan should be said with a long or short 'i' sound. Also, listen closely to how the female host says Mazda as Matsuda, the way it's actually said in the language. Even if this doesn't change the way you enunciate these brands, at least now you know the accurate way in Japanese.
