New water pump, new Muncie M-21 close ratio transmission out of crate with new clutch. 12 bolt rear differencial with 390 gears, adj traction bars. The redone interior looks awsome solid floors rockers.. Car has 3 inch exhaust new with flowmasters and headers, new rear bumper, weld drag lite rims, big tires on rear they dont rub  the stance is real nice. Car runs excellent needs no engine or trans or rear end work. Drive train is strong. The interior all done. Gas, oil psi, temp gauges all work hood tach working. New wood steering wheel. Paint is driver quality not show paint but has a killer shine. My plans were to repaint it this winter but it really doesn't need it in my opion. All body lines are still sharp as you can see in the pics. This is not a Barret Jackson car but is a very presentable car. The front bumper needs a little tinkering to get it lined up right. It was like that when i bought the car. Emergency brake does not work never checked it out again that was not working when i bought the car. I believe it's the cables going to the rear breaks. This car looks like a gto from front to rear  has everything a goat has and much more. The car has alot more money in it then what i'm try to sell it for. Just need the money so my daughter can finish up college. Hate to get rid of it but as any parent would say my child's edcuation comes first. I can always buy another toy later on. People see this car and stare with there mouth open looks real hot  best sounding big block ever heard. This car has alot of potential to be a real show car if someone has the time to put into it. Been getting alot of emails about paint. The paint has a few flaws but nothing bad. It's ready to tare up your streets. Remember the car is 42 years old. You can restore the paint to your liking  or drive as is and enjoy. This car does turn heads i promise. Good Luck Bidding

GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
7,610,862 vehicles in North America being recalled for unintended ignition key rotation. 6,805,679 are in the United States.

Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

Sci-fi movie Jinn features car designer, Firebird-bodied Camaro

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

If you're an automotive engineer being tormented by an immortal being made of fire, then wouldn't you think it best to have a custom coupe called the FireBreather for your getaway car? That's the FireBreather in the image above, adorned by the red wings that once fronted the Pontiac Firebird, running away from a black cloud of evil in a trailer for the movie Jinn.
The Jinn is eternal evil, always waiting for the chance to make things float across rooms before going on homicidal urban rampages. The FireBreather is a Gen-V Chevrolet Camaro - from the V6 to the ZL1 - that's been through Classic Design Concepts' extensive list of exterior and interior modifications, including entirely new front and rear fascias and side skirts, sway bars and springs, Pirelli P Zeroes and an available Edelbrock supercharger.
The movie - FireBreathing chase scenes and all - was shot in Monroe, Michigan. You can watch the trailer below, but since the FireBreather only get a couple of seconds on screen, you can find out more about it on Street Legal TV and its official site.
