This Trans Am has been through a COMPLETE frame off, every last nut and bolt restoration. The car was professionally built and was finished in June of 2012. When it came home I entered it in a classic car show and took 1st place out of 90 cars. The nicest thing about this car is that it was rock solid when the restoration was started in November of 2008. The only rust on the car was the lower half of the rear tail panel(that piece was replaced), and minor surface rust along the inside edges of the hood. After extensive research I found a rust free hood from Oklahoma and replaced it. The rest of the car was rust free and original. I have several before and after pictures that I would be happy to show to a serious buyer. I have more than $70,000 invested in this car, I spared no expense. The car has power windows, power locks, cruise, tilt wheel, remote trunk release, Black vinyl seats A/C and Auto trans. This car only has 1200 miles on it after complete restoration.
The only thing that prevents this car from being a 100% numbers matching car is the paint code. The car's original color was white with a black dash and console (both original)and perfect. All the other options are factory original. The car is covered and inside a car capsule (both go with the car) in my garage. This car is 100% paid for and I don't have to sell it, so I'm not interested in any low ball offers. Please email any questions to jbrennerjr@hotmail.com but serious buyers only.

Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
Watch this garbage truck consume a Pontiac Grand Am
Wed, 15 May 2013When an old car or truck offers its dying breath in your driveway and you just don't have the financial or mechanical wherewithal to resuscitate it yet again, you traditionally have to go to the trouble of calling a flatbed or a tow truck to come haul it away. That usually helps to put a few bucks in your wallet and helps recycle some of the vehicle's parts, but the transaction doesn't seem as final or perversely satisfying as the dispatch service that this New Way Cobra Magnum garbage truck offers.
Okay, okay, so this refuse hauler isn't actually designed for this sort of thing, but it's oddly comforting to know that a sanitation truck can compact a hapless Pontiac Grand Am into oblivion. Next time, we won't feel so guilty about slipping that rusty charcoal grille onto the curb next to the cans on garbage day. Watch the carnage by scrolling below.
Pontiac Firebird in latest Generation Gap scrap
Tue, 30 Sep 2014Generation Gap is mining the Lingenfelter collection again this week to compare two very different interpretations of the Pontiac Firebird. An original 1968 example goes toe-to-toe with a 2010 Lingenfelter Trans Am to see whether the old man or the modern re-imagining takes the crown.
Being from the Lingenfelter collection, both cars are absolutely immaculate. The '68 packs a Pontiac 350-cubic-inch (5.7-liter) V8 with a claimed 320 horsepower and some classic, muscular style with a hood-mounted tach. Plus, it's painted in an understated shade of green that you don't usually see.
In the other corner is Lingenfelter's pumped-up take on the classic shape based on the modern Camaro, and this is just one of six concept versions ever made. It wears an eye-catching, vintage-inspired livery of blue with a white stripe package. Under its shaker hood is a 455-cubic-inch (7.5-liter) V8 with a reported 655 hp and 610 pound-feet of torque.
