TITLE: Clear Ohio title in hand.

HISTORY: Sorry, but I can't tell you a lot. I bought the car from car restoring friend that lives near Cincinnati, Ohio. He bought the car from a man in Indianapolis, Indiana. The guy in Indiana did not of the work on the car.

For your consideration I have a nice 1979 Trans Am for sale. The engine runs strong and sweet, past owner said it was a 400, it runs like a 400,  the Turbo 350 automatic transmission shifts nice, the 10 bolt rear-end has no whines or growls, the tires are new Cooper Zeon, the wheels are new Year One snowflake 17s by 9s inch, the paint is black and has a brilliant shine (its good, but not perfect, no rust, a couple of touched up chips, the wipers work, the gauges work, the exhaust system is in good condition and has Flow Master mufflers, the air conditioning works, the interior nice, it is power steering, power brakes with disc in front and drums in the rear, the parking brake is  working, the decals are good, the headlights work, the turn signals work, the brake lights work. This is a nice car, its just no 100 point show car.

WILL I SELL OFF EBAY? Sure, I want to sell the car and I know lots of you don't have PayPal and ebay accounts.

Please! Please! Please! Read all my description and think it over. I want you to be happy when you come and inspect the car. The only guys I have a hard satisfying imagine a perfect show car at a bargain driver quality price. This is a nice/good looking car its just no roll out of the trailer 100 point show queen. If your looking for that perfect car you can find it, just get ready to roll a wheel barrel of money to buy it. My description will highlight the best and worst, please read and imagine. If your only buying from pictures you can be taken real fast, defects can melt away in pictures, cars can look cleaner.

HAS THE CAR BEEN IN A ACCIDENT? I see no signs of accident damage, the frame look straight, the sheet metal is not wrinkled up that I see, by law the title has to state it if the car has ever been in a bad accident and it does not.

IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS: I see no rust bubbles in the paint, no rusted holes on the underside, no replaced panels that I see. The underside is not undercoated so you can inspect good. It has rusty color, but looks very solid to me. I have not run a magnet on the car because I seen no bubbles and cracks.

IS IT A MATCHING NUMBERS CAR: I think so, but do not know for sure. I really don't worry about it, just so its the correct fit engine and transmission.

ENGINE: Good running engine, no knocks, no rattles, no bad oil leaks, "I will not guarantee you it won't leave a drop of oil on you wife's nice clean floor, its just a old car". Past owner said it was a 400 cubic inch and original to the car. The engine need a good detailing and fresh paint, I just don't have the time to do it.

EXHAUST: Stock manifolds with good dual exhaust that's in good condition. It has the real Muscle Car sound with Flow Master mufflers and look great with the dual tips.

TRANSMISSION: Its a Turbo 350, that's a 3 speed automatic. It shifts good and I found no leaks other than a little dampness around the shift arm shaft. 

REAREND: Its a 10 bolt with a good highway gearing, no whines or growls, it is not positive traction.

BRAKES: Disc brakes in front, drum brakes in rear, they are power, the parking brake works.

STEERING: The car is power steering and drives good.

AIR CONDISTIONING AND HEAT: They work, the air conditioning feels cold, but it is very cold here and hard to tell.

LIGHTS: The headlights work, tail lights work, brake lights work, the under dash lights work, the dome light is not working, I'll check the bulb.

GAUGES; The gas gauge works, the temp works, the oil works, the speedometer works, the tachometer is not working.

WIPERS WORK! HORN IS NOT WORKING! CLOCK IS MOVING, BUT I WILL NOT GUARANTEE IT KEEPS GOOD TIME!

RADIO: Its a nice aftermarket with CD and made by Kenwood.

INTERIOR: Nice interior, the seat covers are nice with no real wear, the carpet good, the headliner nice, dash pad good with no cracks, the door panel good, the panted trim is OK, it has a few scuffs. I think I saw a receipt in the car where past owner bought a complete interior kit.

DECALS: Nice and bright and not cracked up.

PAINT: Good looking paint, the black has a brilliant shine, no big dents, no rust bubble. I see a couple of scuffed places on the bottom edge of the front spoiler and  4 or 5 small defects, the defects look like little checks in the paint, I think it due to applying the paint coats too fast and chemicals bleeding through the layers. They are not big and bad just little places. The body is pretty straight for a black car, the only little waves I see are on the top of the drivers door. Its a good looking paint job, just not perfect.

CRUISE CONTROL: It all looks to be in place, to be honest I have not tried it.

TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just too hard!

INSPECTIONS: Please come look and be happy. All inspections are required to be done before the end of the listing. I listed this car as I see it as a 66 year old car restorer, please come and judge it for your self. I judge the car to my standards, this may not be yours. Paid inspectors have to be very critical to cover their back sides. I understand how hard it is to buy a car without looking, but I think you should come look yourself. I don’t like paid inspectors, I like for the person that is buying to inspect for themselves. I think its fine to send a friend to inspect for you. To make it clear, don’t hit the buy now button and then inspect, come inspect first!
