Milage is under 65k this car sat for a long time at the previous owners house Approximately 10 years. I purchased it from him with clean title. He had done some tastefull mods and the fuel pump went. He had a 2nd car so this one sat. I offered to buy it several times after seeing it on the side of his house in a car port but he always said no. One day he said Yes persistance pays off ! Long story short I went from there. It needed a new rear foam injected spoiler which took me 4 years to find but I did. One piece of the ground effects down low in the front which they dont make aftermarket. I found that as well and had the car painted. It needed little in the way of body work a few dings no rust or body damage.

I have done the following over the last three years and put less than 300 miles on the car. I basically drove it on a dealer tag for one weekend. (My uncle is a dealer).

New Fuel pump
New Alternator
New Starter
New Battery
New tires Rear
Used but excellent tires on front
New Paint
Old stock new rear spoiler (original Equipment)
Synthetic Oil change
New Air Filter
New Windshield.
New Headliner, sunvisors and rear sail pannels.
Steering wheel cover .

Please note this car runs better than new.  I would estimate it after upgrades at around 325 HP I am a adult and have been working on this car to make it perfect for the last 6 years.

Car has no rust or fill in it . Body is a 9 out of 10
Interior is nice but front seats need new appulstry
The car NEEDS NOTHING to be road worthy at all. All mechanics, and body work have been done. I was going to keep this forever so I spent lots of time and money on it. The paint is like glass less one small ding on hood very small and three tiny dings on one door. Knowing it is low miles with a clean car fax this car is a highly optioned collectors car.  T TOPS DONT LEAK and I have the bag !

Mods::::
Ported and polished heads ($950)
Crane Camshaft ($300) installed
Griffen Four Core Aluminum Rad ($500)
Flowmaster Exhaust $475
Rear Gears changed to 3.73 ratio still a posi and it works ($795) Installed.
TPMS Throttle body ($379). installed.

This car has no hesitation. It runs great. I know these cars like the back of my hand. I currently have 4 Trans Ams
I had no plans on selling this car but I need some maintnance done on my house and the wife is cool enough to not balk at me selling other cars or my fishing boat. Im just throwing this out there to see if someone else with taste who appreciates Trans Ams as much as me would enjoy this car. I can send Pics upon request if you want to see more?

CNN chronicles young girl building Pontiac Fiero

Fri, 26 Oct 2012

At fourteen years of age, Kathryn DiMaria has already done what many self-proclaimed gearheads won't even attempt in their lifetimes. The Dearborn, Michigan teen is rebuilding a car from the ground up.
The intrepid youngster asked her parents when she was just twelve to start a Pontiac Fiero project, even offering to pony up all the funds herself. Father, Jerry DiMaria only expected the project to last a few months, but two years later, Kathryn is still at it. In this CNN video, the two are at Maker Faire (a DIY festival) rebuilding a 3.4-liter V6 engine out of a Chevrolet Camaro to replace the 2.8-liter mill found in the Fiero.
The whole family hast pitched in, with Kathryn's mother teaching her how to sew in order to complete the interior, father Jerry providing much of the technical know-how, and even her sister is chronicling Kathryn's progress through photos. Jerry even started a thread in a Fiero forum which has been live for two years and is now 22 pages long. Of the project, one forum member wrote, "welcome to the madness."

This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels

Sat, 14 Dec 2013

We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.

Watch this garbage truck consume a Pontiac Grand Am

Wed, 15 May 2013

When an old car or truck offers its dying breath in your driveway and you just don't have the financial or mechanical wherewithal to resuscitate it yet again, you traditionally have to go to the trouble of calling a flatbed or a tow truck to come haul it away. That usually helps to put a few bucks in your wallet and helps recycle some of the vehicle's parts, but the transaction doesn't seem as final or perversely satisfying as the dispatch service that this New Way Cobra Magnum garbage truck offers.
Okay, okay, so this refuse hauler isn't actually designed for this sort of thing, but it's oddly comforting to know that a sanitation truck can compact a hapless Pontiac Grand Am into oblivion. Next time, we won't feel so guilty about slipping that rusty charcoal grille onto the curb next to the cans on garbage day. Watch the carnage by scrolling below.
