Porsche 944 1987 automatic. Nice little car and the condition is good for a 944 this old. The paint is very good as far as 944s go. The sunroof does not leak. Automatic transmission, no cup holders in 944s. It has the original radio with cassette tape player as well as the tape holders under a working console door. The door locks both work with the same key, these are known to break. They sell a lot of door handles for 944s. The power locks work as well. The a/c did work but I was told it needed a relay. It has the roll out rear cargo cover and the bag for the sun roof. The hood supports work and hold the hood up all by itself. Tires are very good also. The bad part is it suddenly overheated one day and started running very rough. I parked it and never had the time to do the repairs. I am not sure of the damage but I don't think it is an easy fix. There is a lot of good things about this car and one bad thing.

Porsche inspecting 2,500 Euro-spec Macans for damaged brake boosters
Thu, 29 May 2014Porsche is investigating a potential brake issue with 2,500 of its new Macan CUVs. The inspection focuses on the state of the brake systems following tests that discovered the brake boosters may have been damaged during assembly.
Porsche has pointed out that, despite the concern, the affected Macans still meet safety regulations. The issue is predominantly found in European-spec Macans, which according to Porsche, have been delivered to consumers. Owners of affected vehicles in Europe will be notified and asked to come in for a brief, no-cost inspection.
American consumers, though, have no reason to worry. We reached out to Porsche Cars North America, who confirmed that the vehicles in question were assembled before US-spec cars were screwed together.

I need you to understand what it's like to drive this car. I'm not talking about your ability to comprehend the words on this page or process the figures that surround the 2014 Porsche Cayman S, but rather what it feels like to take control of a car conceived, designed, engineered and manufactured to set your prefrontal cortex alight with all the glee a Zippo typically reserves for pine needles marinated in jet fuel. From the instant you put your tail in the driver's seat, the Cayman sets about impregnating your veins with a full and varied spectrum of ludicrous emotion. It's not like taking the family pickup to market, I can tell you that much.
For 2014, the next-generation Cayman features many of the same styling tweaks first displayed on the coupe's drop-top cousin, the Boxster, though a spate of mechanical changes, more power, less weight and better efficiency join the party to further differentiate this model from its predecessor. And while additions like rev-matched downshifts and electronic power steering help push the Cayman into a new era, one fact remains unchanged: This is one of the best driving cars on the market. Period. Bear with me and I'll try to explain exactly why that is.
