2006 Saab 9-3 Aero 2.8L V6. Automatic.

This car runs and drives great, it has been sitting around for the past 6 months because I was using it as a back up car, but havent driven since. The car just hit 97,000 miles, mostly highway. The tires and rims are in great shape, tires have 80% tread on them, and rims are in great shape. It has a dual exhaust. The exterior of the car has no dents, this car has never been in an accident. Clean title. Paint is in good condition, some minor peeling around the front windows, and the bumper lip has a couple spots. AC works great, it was just filled today, it is ready for the hot summer days. I had the car taken to Pep boys, and they recommended to get O2 sensor changed and front rotors. Also it needs 1 HID light replaced. All this due to the car standing around without being driven. Car has fog lights, and rear fog lights. The interior is a 2 tone black and white leather in good shape, there are several scuffs on the seats in the back and front. Car has park assist when parking in reverse. The car is $6,200 for good condition and $7,200 for very good on kelly blue book. I am the second owner, I had this car since 2010.

The car is local pick up, or you schedule a delivery. I usually go through uship.com

On Jun-10-14 at 20:45:02 PDT, seller added the following information:

I will need $500 deposit within 48 hours

Make sure to read the whole description, it does need the rotors and the o2 sensor, because the car has trouble shifting when the gas pedal is being floored. Also HID bulb needs to be replaced on left side.

For more questions please email me.

Car is getting picked up in area code 17339

Saab's latest Chinese owners facing their own credit woes

Sat, 16 Aug 2014

Poor Saab, it can't seem to get a break. General Motors couldn't seem to make a go of it, neither could Spyker, and now it seems that its latest owner is encountering some problems of its own.
That owner, of course, is National Electric Vehicle Sweden, a Swedish holding company owned by Chinese investors. NEVS recently restarted production at the Saab plant in Trollhättan, Sweden, and had some ambitious plans for the brand's revival, but it appears to have run out of cash.
This according to a report in The Wall Street Journal, which discovered that NEVS is having trouble paying its suppliers. One such supplier, called Labo Test, has reportedly been owed some $22,000 by NEVS since February, and without payment, petitioned the Swedish government to place NEVS into bankruptcy proceedings. If that seems a little extreme to you over twenty-two grand, it would seem the parties agree, as the petition has reportedly since been withdrawn.

Grainy leaked images show stillborn Castriota-designed Saab 9-3

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

The Saab faithful are going to be playing the "what if" game for years to come. It's one of the burdens of being a fan of a dead brand. A fresh batch of grainy 9-3 Phoenix images have made their way online, alleged shots of a design proposal penned by none other than Jason Castriota. The five-door looks to feature an honest liftback, though SaabsUnited.com says this particular vehicle was drawn up as part of a business plan in early 2011. As such, Castriota apparently told the site the final product was to look much more athletic than what we see here. While the low-resolution images make it difficult to tell much about the design, we certainly appreciate the familiar roofline, full band taillamps and the contrasting rear spoiler reminiscent of the old Saab 99 and 900 ducktails.
Unfortunately, we know all too well why this creation never saw the light of day. Would-be savior Victor Muller couldn't quite pull Saab out of its nosedive, and the company fell into bankruptcy before the 9-3 Phoenix could get off the ground. There's talk of the Phoenix platform and Saab brand having new life in other markets as EVs and even as gas cars, but the model seen here will likely never see production - let alone North American showrooms.

GM recalling 250,000 SUVs over door electronics

Mon, 20 Aug 2012

After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt.
Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM.
