Selling a very safe, fuel efficient, and sporty Subaru Impreza Sport Premium / CLK. Excellent handling, with Subaru's symmetrical AWD. 17" sport alloy wheels. All weather floor mats, factory ground effects, cargo tray. This is a great car. Much of the miles are highway, as I drove back and forth regularly to Wisconsin during the first year, for work. One owner car. Paint and interior are in great shape. I've had all maintenance done at Gerald Subaru in N. Aurora, with synthetic oil. This car does well in the snow and gets 36 MPG on the highway. Plenty of room for a full size adult in the back seats. A must see!

Drive looks at a pair of STI-ified Subaru Impreza RS Coupes
Tue, 15 Oct 2013Among tuners, the legions of Subaru fans are hard to top, displaying all the fanaticism of English soccer fans and a dedication to their vehicles that borders on obsessive. These are compliments, by the way. In the latest video from Drive, Matt Farah takes a look at a pair of very special Imprezas - early Impreza 2.5RS Coupes that have had some serious heart transplants.
The first, a traditional blue model, sports the 2.5-liter, turbocharged flat-four from the 2004 WRX STI, which is good for around 300 horsepower. The other Impreza is a bit more hardcore - the engine is a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder from the JDM WRX STI, which we suppose makes it more of an Impreza 2.0RS Coupe. Besides the different engines, both cars represent the unique ideas and style of their owners.

Subaru SVX to be resurrected with hybrid power?
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Salt. Get the salt. A new report out of Australia is claiming that Subaru is working on a new SVX. Yes, seriously.
Now, this is not feasible for a pair of huge reasons. First, the demand for a two-door Subaru, as we've seen with the BRZ, has not been tremendous. Second, the original SVX was a pretty horrible seller. Could the world be ready for a revival, though?
According to an unnamed source that spoke to Motoring.com.au, the reborn SVX will be based on the Viziv 2 Concept that was shown at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, but it will be a considerably more aggressive design, arriving as a low, wide shooting brake. According to the Aussies, the reborn SVX would ride on a new Subaru Global Platform, which will underpin the next-generation Tribeca, because of that platform's support for hybridization.
