2005.5 Volkswagen New Jetta TDI (Diesel) with incredible low original mileage (76K miles). This car is loaded with many options, it is package 2 (has the most options). Leather seats in very good condition, front seats are heated, driver seat has memory option.
I have purchased this car after light accident (see last couple of pictures or search web by entering VIN# into Google search engine, here is the link https://www.google.com/search?q=3vwdt71k25m618696&hl=en&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=s8UjUpKVOuazsQTD-ICACg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=620) with intention of fixing it and keeping for myself, so quality parts were used during repair process.
Here is the list of parts replaced:
- Both headlights are replaced with nice aftermarket with LED and Halo light effect, looks really cool.
- Brand New VW OEM Hood was custom painted.
- Radiator, AC Condenser and Air Cooler were bought brand new
- Brand new OEM Radiator Fan
- Aftermarket Grille and fog light.
- Radiator support.
- Front Bumper is original, but had to be painted as well as both fenders.
- Air Filter Box and MAF sensors are OEM brand new.
- Also replaced one of the engine mounts.
- AC was recharged and blows cold.
Car runs and drives nice, wheels have curb damage and car will soon need a set of tires (it appears that it still has original tires).
Vehicle passed Tennessee inspection and has a rebuild TN title, check your state DMV rules to see if additional inspections needed.

VW's Winterkorn tells 20,000 staffers of big cost-cutting plans
Thu, 24 Jul 2014During a gathering of 20,000 Volkswagen Group employees at company headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany on Wednesday, CEO Martin Winterkorn dropped a bombshell. The boss stated that the automaker isn't operating efficiently enough and admitted the company needs to radically start cutting back to raise its profit margins. To right the ship, Winterkorn has proposed killing off less profitable models and spending less on research and development.
According to Reuters, Winterkorn wants to raise the VW brand's profit margin from about 2.9 percent in 2013 to a target of 6 percent. To make that possible, his plan amounts to increasing cost cutting until Volkswagen reaches about 5 billion euros ($6.7 billion) per year to get things back in order. "Over the short-term, we urgently need more efficiency and higher profit," the CEO said during his speech, according to Reuters.
However, Winterkorn can't make these decisions unilaterally. Volkswagen's works council also has a seat on the supervisory board to represent laborers, and it isn't likely to take the proposed cuts sitting down.
1000-hp Mk1 VW Golf is terrifyingly cool

From the factory, the little hatch cranked a breathy 112 horsepower from the most robust form of its 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. Boba motoring, however, has taken that figure and multiplied it by a factor of nearly 10. If 1,000 horsepower sounds terrifying in a machine with a wheelbase of just 94.5 inches, it should. A massive Garrett GTX4202R turbo force-feeds the little mill through a tweaked 16-valve KR head. The crew calls the beast the 16Vampir, and we think that's fitting.
