2013 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca number 363 of the limited production run in 2013 of 750. Approximately 6700 miles from new. The Laguna Seca was the special edition Mustang Boss 302 made in limited numbers in 2012 and 2013. These cars could become somewhat collectible in the future due to their low production numbers as well as the fact that they have all kinds of factory goodies installed by Ford to make this a very special car. In 2013 the Boss 302 Laguna Seca's were only offered in black and school bus yellow.
This Boss 302 LS comes with the Red track key that has been activated, as well as the black and black and silver keys. I have not tracked the car but it would definitely be capable of that kind of duty. This car drives GREAT. It handles like it is on rails and has fantastic power. Very impressive.
The transmission cooler plate and front brake ducts have been installed, The front splitter was on the car but I removed it because I like the look of the car without it, Of course, it does come with the car.
The original Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires are still on the car and are showing quite a bit of tread left on them.
It has had a recent oil change with Ford 5/50 full synthetic oil and Ford filter.
This is a fun car that is ready for it's new owner.

This Or That: Fiat 500 Abarth vs. Ford Fiesta ST [w/poll]

Thu, 21 Aug 2014

They're pretty darn similar. And yet our views are oh so different.
If you guys could read the transcripts of our editors' chat room, you'd know that we're a pretty argumentative bunch. It's always good-spirited stuff (well, usually), but when we're not obsessively covering this or that, we're usually fighting about one car being better than another. We're all enthusiasts here, and our automotive tastes run the gamut from the weird and unusual to the decidedly mainstream - we all feel strongly about specific cars in a given segment. While it usually makes for good conversation, if we're passionate enough, it can turn into a tomato-throwing showdown.

Alan Mulally talks about why Ford's Falcon had to die

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

When Ford made the decision to end production of the Falcon sedan and Territory CUV in Australia, it wasn't a popular move Down Under. The large, four-door Falcon had been in production for 50 years, and while Ford has reaffirmed its commitment to the Australian market, it's understandable that some people still aren't all that crazy about the Blue Oval's decision.
Speaking to CEO Alan Mulally after Ford's Go Further event in Sydney, Australian site Go Auto reports that the decision was not one made lightly, and that the automaker is doing everything possible to respect the Falcon and Territory's "stakeholders." It's an interesting piece that shows a softer side of a corporation, while demonstrating that Ford is doing everything in its power to make the end of production as smooth as possible for all parties.
Head over to Go Auto for the full series of remarks from Mulally, and then let us know what you think of Ford's handling of the Falcon and Territory discontinuations, in Comments.

J Mays' legacy

Fri, 15 Nov 2013

Mays is by far not the first designer to use heritage design cues in his work.
The announcement that J Mays will be leaving his chief creative officer role at Ford Motor Company on January 1 ends a 13-year run in one of the industry's top design roles. While best known for having a hand in reborn classics like the Volkswagen New Beetle, Ford Mustang and Thunderbird (above), Mays' legacy is more complicated and nuanced than being considered the father of what is known as "retrofuturism".
